Next time you’re at the grocery store, stock up on extra virgin olive oil for at home beauty treatments. Rich in vitamins, minerals and natural fatty acids, olive oil can effectively prevent signs of aging, help regenerate skin cells, hydrate, strengthen and also protect the skin. The benefits of olive oil are also used in Restorsea Restoring Night Cream, perfectly hydrating and firming tired skin using a unique olive oil emulsion system and soothing oat extract. Here are some additional ways to incorporate olive oil into your beauty routine:

Olive Oil bath: To prepare an olive oil bath, just add 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil into your bath. You can also try olive oil in the shower. Prior to getting in, massage olive oil all over your body. Make sure to wipe away the excess oil before you get out.

Makeup remover: Olive can be used as a safe and effective make-up remover that also works to hydrate your skin. Apply on a cotton pad and gently wipe away makeup. Rinse with warm water, then cold water to stimulate blood circulation and to close pores.

Nail Strength: For strong nails, soak in warm olive oil for five to ten minutes. Repeat twice a week, and your nails will be strengthened and shiny.

Hair Masks: Mix one yolk of an egg with 2 table spoons of olive oil and 5 drops of lemon juice. Apply to hair and set for 15 minutes and then wash thoroughly. For added moisture and shine, leave on for up to an hour.

In Your Food: Whether you mix it with your pasta or drizzle on a leafy green salad, it’s important to remember that beauty starts from within!
