Taking traditional poses from other yoga styles – did you know there’s 8 major forms? – Restorative yoga minimizes body tension by adding props (blocks, bolsters and blackets) to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation.  

Restorative yoga works really well as a compliment to other cardio-intensive activities – I go after getting my butt kicked at Pilates, or sometimes just to de-stress (not that it ever completely goes away!).
