You’ve heard it time and again, but one woman’s experience will really drill the message home: drinking water (lots of it) does wonders for your skin.

For years, Sarah, 42, suffered headaches and poor digestion. After consultations with doctors resulted in the same suggestion (“Drink more water!”), Sarah thought she’d take their word for it. She conducted her own experiment, increasing her daily water intake from one to three liters, for four weeks. The results were extraordinary; not only did her physical discomforts subside, but her skin also improved drastically, giving her the appearance of a woman ten years younger.
