Sometimes to get a little culture, we have to leave Restorsea's home base in Midtown East and go…to Midtown West, to the Museum of Modern Art of course!
Claes Oldeburg’s four-show retrospective opened at MoMA a few weeks ago and spotlights the audaciousness and sense of whimsy that can be discovered in every day objects, featuring the artist's most known work: his human-sized plaster dessert(!) sculpters.
The show includes selected works from Oldeburg's 40+ year career, and is a testiment to his reputation as one of the most important artists of the 20th century.
