Did you know what you eat can affect your complexion? Look for vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E when picking up your groceries.

·         Large concentrations of Vitamin A, which can be found in mango, papaya, cantaloupe, and broccoli can prove beneficial in treating acne and helps to shed dead skin.

·         High levels of Vitamin C, which is found in citrus fruits, including red and green peppers, broccoli and tomatoes help to improve complexion and create collagen. Berries, such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, contain both vitamin A and vitamin C, and together, act as an antioxidant that will protect your skin cells from the damage that may contribute to the signs of aging.

·         Finally, Vitamin E, found in vegetable oils, whole-grain cereals, leafy green vegetables, has been found to improve skin texture, the length of facial lines, and the depth of wrinkles. It has also been seen to speed wound healing and decrease the appearance of scars and burns!
