Why Are We Better
The Restorsea DifferenceExclusive Ingredient that Gently Exfoliates to Improve Skin Texture
A Secret, Submerged
Powered by our revolutionary Vibransea™complex, Restorsea is a naturally-derived, clinically proven skincare regimen providing a groundbreaking alternative to harsh exfoliants.
Discovered in the pure fjords of Western Norway in one of the nation’s leading salmon hatcheries, Vibransea™complex’s active ingredient, Aquabeautine XL ® provides the same benefits as glycolic acid and without the abrasive side effects.
Why It Works
It works like this: at birth, baby salmon release an enzyme, Aquabeautine XL ®, to escape from their shell. This enzyme has two components: a protein and an exfoliant. The protein attaches to a specific area of the egg shell and the exfoliant dissolves the area marked by the protein.
Once finished, the enzyme turns itself off, enabling the baby salmon to exit from its shell unharmed.
Most exfoliants work by burning through both dead and living skin cells, producing uncomfortable side effects such as redness, sensitivity to light and peeling of the skin. Conversely, Aquabeautine XL ® operates by dissolving only dead skin cells, allowing living ones to flourish.
Anchored by this enzyme, Restorsea is the only skincare line that improves skin texture and tone and reduces the appearance of age spots and fine lines without harsh side effects.
Aquabeautine XL® should not be confused with Omega-3 or Freya, which are derived from squeezing the oil from the skin of the fish or crushing fertilized fish eggs, respectively; fish are killed to obtain this oil.
In contrast, our enzyme is collected and filtered from the post-hatching waters of salmon. The fish are not harmed in the process.
