At what temperature should I store my creams?
Room temperature. The product does not perform well under extreme heat (e.g. above 107.8 degrees Fahrenheit). Please store in a cool, dry place.
What sets Restorsea apart from other skin care products?
Composed of naturally derived ingredients, it utilizes a patented enzyme released in salmon hatching to intensify hydration and significantly improve skin.
What can I expect from the day cream?
Restorsea's Rejuvenating Day Cream improves radiance, elasticity and smoothness without being greasy or heavy.
What can I expect from the eye cream?
Restorsea's Revitilizing Eye Cream has been proven to reduce dark circles, puffiness and the appearance of fine lines.
Is there SPF in your formula?
While most of our products do not have SPF, our recently launched Rejuvenating Day Lotion with SPF 30 does. The lotion provides complete protection against both UVA and UVB rays thereby providing full coverage against damage from environmental factors which contribute to skin's aging. It is light weight, NOT GREASY, and doesn’t leave the dreaded ‘white film’ associated with most natural sunscreens.
Why do I feel warmth and tingling after application of the Eye Cream?
Our Revitalizing Eye Cream contains Hesperidin, derived from citrus fruits, to increase circulation and reduce dark under-eye circles. The increased circulation in turn creates a warm, tingling-like sensation.
Why do I need a night cream?
Nighttime is when skin does its heavy lifting. Like the rest of the body, skin does the bulk of its repairing, restoring, and regenerating while we sleep, so night creams are focused on moisture and recovery. Our CEO, Patti Pao, wanted to create a product that would help her skin wake up glowing. The Restoring Night Cream provides intense hydration and anti-aging benefits so that you will wake up to the appearance of diminished lines and wrinkles and a radiant, glowing complexion.
What is a serum? Why should I use one?
Serums are specially designed to be very potent and specially formulated to maximize penetration into the skin. The main reason you want to use a serum is to have a more potent and effective method to deliver active ingredients into the skin. The serum’s ability to go deeper into the skin is what allows it to help combat many common beauty complaints.
What happens if I stop using Restorsea?
Your skin will go back to its previous state after about 10 days.
Is Restorsea hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested?
Of course! We conducted extensive, independent clinical trials and Restorsea is proven hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. The Eye Cream is also opthamologist-tested and can be used with contact lenses and hyper-sensitive skin.
Does Restorsea contain Parabens, Silicone, PEGs, Phthalates, or Mineral Oil?
No, Restorsea is proud to be an all natural product.
Could Restorsea result in thinning of the skin?
Unlike glycolic acid, our enzyme cannot attach to healthy skin cells and goes dormant once its work is done. Skin is smooth, not thinned.
Why is there an air pocket in my jar of Restorsea Revitalizing Eye Cream?
Unfortunately because of the chemistry of our formula air bubbles are hard to avoid in the packaging process. The air pocket does not mean you received less product, it’s just the way the product fills and settles in the jar. In fact, to avoid this issue as much as possible we actually overfill the product based on weight. Our formula, which is patented, is very unique because we had to create a “home” for the living enzyme. Please rest assured that you have received the amount of product promised, actually more, as we fill our jars based on weight not volume.
Why does my Reviving Cleanser change colors?
Our Reviving Cleanser does not contain sulfates or detergents BUT it thoroughly removes your makeup without stripping your skin’s essential oils. The active ingredient responsible for this turns white when exposed to cold temperatures. However, once exposed to room temperature for up to a day, the cleanser will resume its natural pale yellow color. The change in color, while interesting, does not impact the composition or the performance of the product.

How long does one container last?
About 6-8 weeks depending on usage.
Can I put the eye cream on my eye lids?
We don’t recommend it. Please pat/dap the cream underneath your eyes and around the crow’s feet area for best results!
How do I apply a serum properly?
In order to maximize its effectiveness, all serums need to be applied directly to clean skin morning AND evening. Cleanse and if necessary, apply toner, and then apply a dime-size amount of the Renormalizing Serum. In the morning, follow with Rejuvenating Day Cream or the Rejuvenating Day Lotion SPF 30. In the evening, follow with the Restoring Night Cream.
Can I use the creams if I have contacts in and have sensitive eyes?
Yes, Restorsea is opthamologist-tested and approved for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
Can I use Restorsea products if I have acne-prone skin?
Regarding acne, this should not be an issue given that we are non-comedogenic. In fact, our founder/CEO Patti Pao suffered from cystic acne and developed this line with that in mind. We have also heard anecdotally that Restorsea helps minimize breakouts and reduces the appearance of acne scars (You can check out a blog post on this here: http://restorsea.wordpress.com/2013/01/29/reducing-the-appearance-of-acne-scars-and-breakouts/)
Can I use Restorsea products if I am currently prescribed on Accutane?
As our product only exfoliates dead skin cells and does not cause the skin to thin, Restorsea should be safe to use with Accutane and may help minimize breakouts and reduce the appearance of any scarring. However, as with all prescriptions, we strongly recommend that you discuss with your prescribing physician before using any skincare products.
Are Restorsea’s products safe to use during pregnancy?
We are proud to use all naturally derived ingredients—so no PEGS, parabens, phthalates, silicone, or mineral oil. Many of our customers have reported using Restorsea during pregnancy. If you would like to send your doctor a list of you can send your doctor the ingredients list located on our product detail pages on our website.
What is the shelf life for your cream?
Unopened 4 years, opened 3 years.
If I am allergic to fish or shellfish should I try your product?
No, we do not recommend it as our natural enzymes are derived from salmon hatching fluids.

Is your product tested on animals?
Of course not!
Are the salmon harmed in the extraction process of the enzyme?
Of course not! We are fortunate to work with a highly-respected salmon farm in Norway run by a veterinarian. Those salmon are living well, just like you will!
My friend is a vegan. Can she use Restorsea?
It really depends on her comfort level. Our Vibransea™ cocktail is fueled by an enzyme produced during the salmon hatching process. The enzyme, amniotic fluid and egg shell fragments are filtered out of the hatching water and combined with Vitamin C and Brown Algae to create a formula that is anti-aging, moisturizing and strengthening.
