Q: The Day Cream just isn’t for me. Will I still see results if I use the Serum, then apply a day cream from another brand?

A: I think you will get results using the Serum. This is because the Serum is our most potent product, containing twice the amount of our proprietary enzyme, Aquabeautine XL®.  In addition, the Serum contains Songyi Mushroom extract, a natural bio-extract which is known throughout Asia for its whitening and brightening properties.

Can I Dilute My Restorsea Creams?

Friday, March 28, 2014 1:00:03 PM America/New_York

Q: Can the eye and day creams be diluted with water to extend their life, or should they be used full strength?

A: You shouldn’t be diluting any of your products with water as this action can potentially contaminate your products (even if using distilled water).  All products are formulated to be used intact to ensure their efficacy, stability and purity.

Day Cream for Décolletage and Hands?

Friday, March 21, 2014 1:00:17 PM America/New_York

Q: Do you recommend using the Day Cream on the décolletage area and the hands?

A: No. While I love the Day Cream, it is not appropriate for any area other than the face. The areas of the body are different and product needs to be formulated to address these differences to insure efficacy. For example:

The face is the easiest area of the body to heal in that it has thick skin, a lot of muscle tone and most importantly, a high number of sebaceous glands which promote healing.

The neck and décolletage area lack muscle tone and sebaceous glands. This is why you need to use a product specifically designed for these areas. We will be launching our neck and décolletage product in the second half of 2014, so please stay tuned!

The hands are the hardest area of the body to heal because the skin thins as we age. There are no sebaceous glands and no muscle tone. Our Repairing Hand Treatment launched March 1st, so I recommend you give it a try! I call it the “Million Dollar” hand cream because I gave a lab sample to an investor and a week later he wrote back: “I LOVE THE HAND CREAM! My eczema is gone. My hands are blemish-free. Sign me up for a million and I want a 10 year supply!”

If you love what the Day Cream is doing with your facial skin, I would recommend that you try the Body Butter. This was developed to treat the extremities, which have no sebaceous glands but a lot of muscle tone and thick skin.

Q: Can the Day Cream be blended with foundation, or is it better to use each separately?

A: It is better to use each separately.  This is because our enzyme is living.  It is very temperamental and either kills the active ingredients in your foundation or is killed by the actives.  As a result, it is better to apply the products separately.

Do I need additional exfoliation?

Friday, March 7, 2014 12:00:31 PM America/New_York

Q: Should I still be using a gentle exfoliator?

A: You do not need to use any exfoliator.  This is because Restorsea’s proprietary and patented enzyme, Aquabeautine XL®, is a gentle exfoliator. Note, however, that it only exfoliates dead skin, leaving living skin cells untouched.  Mother Nature is amazing in that it created this enzyme in order for the baby salmon to get out of its egg shell.  Unlike a chicken that can physically peck its way out of its egg shell, a baby salmon needs assistance, as its egg shell is very tough.  As a result, when it is ready to be born, it releases an enzyme which dissolves its egg shell (dead skin) enabling it to swim away unharmed.  When this enzyme is applied to human skin, it similarly dissolves only the dead skin cells.  The result is constant exfoliation without the side effects of traditional exfoliants, which work by burning through both living and dead skin cells resulting in thinning, red skin that is sensitive to light.
