My parents moved to the south when I was younger, so I’m very familiar with the varieties of fried chicken and fried chicken sandwiches on the taste-market.

While Chick-Fil-A might be a particular favorite of Houston, Texas (where my mom lives today), I’m on Team Scratch Bar in Los Angeles’ Beverly Hills.

Other than without political and social scandal, Scratch Bar’s food is simply, decadent. Owned by Chef Phillip Frankeland the restaurant serves an adventurous array of New American cuisine and out of the box cocktails.
