We have received a lot of questions regarding the stability of the Vitamin C ingredient in our Vibransea complex.
Vitamin C is notoriously unstable when exposed to air, light and/or water.
However, the the Vitamin C used in Restorsea’s Vibransea complex is a stabilized form. Specifically, it is a derivatized formed - a glucose molecule is attached to the Vitamin C to prevent it from breaking down. As a result, our Vitamin C derivative is stable when exposed to air, light and/or water.
When this derivatized form of Vitamin C comes in contact with the skin, enzymes in the skin break the Vitamin C complex and release the active form of Vitamin C allowing the effective antioxidant properties of Vitamin C to work.
Our formulator believes that the Vitamin C derivative in Restorsea’s Vibransea complex is the most effective one he has come across to date. XOX Patti
