Caffeine is found in many places in our own homes. For us workingwomen, though, we find most of our caffeine in our morning (afternoon, break, night, etc.) coffee.

Caffeine can make us jittery, raise our blood pressure, cause headaches and anxiety, and can even cause your heart to beat out of rhythm. An FDA study suggested that more than four cups of coffee a day is very unhealthy. They found that in moderation, caffeine was safe and helpful. The advantageous effects of caffeine in your coffee kick in after about an hour and are said to last from four to six hours.

So keep your coffee intake to a minimum and remember that some of the medicines in your cabinet contain caffeine as well. Make sure to always be drinking water to negate some of the unpleasant effects of too much coffee.
